Programming The library conducts a dynamic, year-round program of services for all age levels. Children and families are invited to participate in a summer library program designed to keep children reading throughout the summer months and to introduce young children to the joys of reading. The program consists of reading contests, storytime sessions, special kids' workshops, and family entertainment, all related to a statewide reading theme that changes every year. After-school workshop sessions for children in grades 1 through 6, along with educational programs for families featuring guest speakers from around the region, are provided periodically. Information about the summer library program schedule of activities and other library programs is printed in the local newspaper or can be obtained by calling the library at 715-265-7443. |
