Computer and Wifi Access
We are pleased to offer computer access, including Internet access, to you as part of the library’s mission to provide materials and services that meet users’ personal, educational and professional needs. Our computer workstations allow users to access the Internet, various software programs such as word processing, and a selection of informational databases. A printer, black and white only, is available for 10 cents per page.
The library also provides WiFi Internet access, feel free to bring in your laptop computer or any mobile device with WiFi capability.
The library’s primary purpose in providing Internet access is to enhance our existing reference services in meeting the information needs of our users. In order to offer quality Internet service to all of our users, potential users should possess adequate computer skills and agree to follow the policy requirements outlined in our Computer/Internet Policy for Public Access.
In addition, due to the controversial nature of some Internet material, a parent or legal guardian must grant permission for any child between the ages of 11 and 18 (12 - 17) to use a computer workstation with Internet access at the library (by signing our Computer/Internet Policy for Public Access with their child present).
Minors under the age of 12 do not need a signed Internet agreement, but must be accompanied at all times, at the computer Internet workstation, by a parent or guardian who does have a signed Internet agreement.
